Compassionate counselling for life’s ups and downs
Warm, flexible support online or in person in East Lothian
A safe and supportive space
Hello, I’m Joanna.
I offer an honest, empathic and non-judgemental space where you can explore what’s troubling you. Together, we can untangle difficulties, find meaning, and create a sense of balance and peace.
"Counselling can help you reconnect with yourself and find a way forward."
"Whatever your circumstances, counselling offers space to reflect, understand yourself more deeply, and move forward with greater clarity and self-kindness."
Who I work with
Counselling is for anyone who feels they would benefit from a safe and supportive space to talk things through. People come to me for many different reasons – sometimes it’s a period of loss or change, other times it’s a feeling of being stuck, overwhelmed or unsure of the way forward.
I often work with adults who are:
navigating anxiety, low mood or stress
living with the impact of past trauma or difficult experiences
going through bereavement or loss
struggling with self-esteem or identity
reflecting on relationships or life transitions
exploring life through the lens of a new understanding of themselves – including people who have ASD, ADD or ADHD
Flexible & accessible therapy
I understand that life is busy and finding time for yourself isn’t always easy. That’s why I offer both online sessions for people across the UK and in-person counselling in Musselburgh and Haddington, with evening and weekend appointments available.
Sessions last for one hour and cost £60. To help you decide if counselling feels right for you, I offer a free 30-minute telephone consultation before we begin.
Your first step is a free consultation – a chance to talk things through and see if it feels like the right fit for you.
